Help us get back on our feet

Me and my wife have been living in our little honda accord for a year now. We have a little dog named queso and a cat that only has 3 feet named sabatian. We are living in our car because we were kicked out by my wife's daughter and mother to talking about getting married. We were working as housekeepers in LA making good money and saving for a place and or a motorhome. We got unlucky when our timing belt snapped and we were stranded in LA for 12 days. Finally got it towed back to bakersfield fixed the car but it still wasn't running right it's an automatic but we have to drive it like a stick and jump 2nd gear every time. It misfires due to a bent valve as a result of out interference engine it bent our gas valve when the timing belt snapped. Well it was still driving just not well... A few weeks ago it died again this time won't start we finally got it to start and it's smoking a lot we think it's a blown head gasket.. I just got a job 2 weeks ago at dollar tree as a cashier but I'm embarrassed because I haven't taken a shower and have no way too. Any money made at work will now go into fixing the car.  We are really good people no drugs no drinking... We need help with this so we can get the car running again and start saving to get a studio apartment so I can be clean for work. Please help the heat is killer right now. We didn't ask for this it wasn't something we expected now it's just so hard to get out of the situation once your in it
