Ken Pihl

Hello Friends and Members of Deaf community,

This is Randy Skelton…it is with deep sadness that we share the news of Ken Pihl’s sudden and untimely passing on June 8, 2025.

Ken was an easy going and spontaneous guy with a big heart. He was always willing to help - whether on a personal or business level - because he truly wanted to see others happy. He took great pride in his work in commercial construction and general home improvement.

Over the years, Ken lived life with passion for the outdoors - he loved skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, quadding, and more. He also gave back to the community through volunteering with Deaf organizations. And of course he was a devoted Vancouver Canucks and BC Lions fan.

Ken touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed.

I am fundraising for Ken’s girlfriend, Marlene Ramsay…any donation, no matter the amount, will be deeply appreciated and will go toward her for cremation costs etc. and his upcoming memorial service.
