Help Janet's Fight Against Cancer!

Donation protected
My sister, Janet Manno Dalbo, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 at the age of 45.  We lost our mother in 1992 at the age of 66 from Breast Cancer.  Janet was very diligent in checking during self examinations and mammographies, however, this unmerciful disease invaded my sister.  She  found a lump in 2005 which turned out to be Stage 3 breast cancer.  She underwent a double mastectomy due to the family history hoping that the cancer was gone!  We all longed for that "five year cancer free period" to pass without reoccurrence and it did!   Unfortunately, in the sixth year, it returned and the nightmare started all over again.  A tumor was found on her rib in 2011 and she was then diagnosed as Stage 4 breast cancer.  She underwent her second and third round of intravenous chemotherapy.  Between 2011 and 2013 tumors were also found outside her brain, two on her rib, and her spine and liver.  She has been on Chemotherapy pills from 2013-2016 which kept the tumors at bay.  During this time, she has been constantly in and out of the hospital for testing.    In February of 2016 she discovered a lump on her sternum.  After testing, she got good news and bad news.  The lump was a bone spur, however, they found liquid in her lungs.  She struggled with her insurance company to have another test to determine what caused the fluid in her lung.  After finally getting approval, it was determined that the fluid was NOT in the lung, but outside the lung between the rib cage and contained cancerous cells.  The diagnosis meant that the cancer continues to spread.  Janet will now have to go through her fouth round of intravenous chemotherapy.  The medical bills are starting to overwhelm her and she has now been forced to put her house up for sale and move to a less expensive location.  This is all during a time when her husband, Vinnie, has been struggling working two jobs in order to pay the mounting medical bills.  Vinnie is under a great deal of stress worrying about his wife.  Your donation will be used to defray the cost of medical bills and to assist Janet with her financial difficulties.   I was in law enforcement  for thirty  years and have  dealt with some very tough individuals; but throughout this ordeal with my sister, I have realized that she is the strongest person that I have ever met in my life.   Her determination and endless struggle against this disease has shown me  how strong she really is.  Your contributions will make her life less stressful and hopefully help her FIGHT AND CONQUER this merciless disease.  I want my sister to concentrate on healing rather than worrying about the next medical bill that comes in the mail.  I will forever be grateful for whatever donation you can make to help my sister throughout this fight.  If you are unable to donate anything, please keep her in your prayers.    Thank you from the bottom of my heart.            FRANK MANNO
