My colleague, Amy Nguyen, and I teach students with special needs, grades 1-5, at the BTU Pilot School in Jamaica Plain, MA. Our students require modifications and accomodations to their curriculum in order to make progress. We have found a curriculum that fits the needs of our students but we do not have the funds to purchase it. We have researched this curriculum in great detail and have talked with colleagues at other schools who are using this program with great success!!! Our school suffered greatly due to budget cuts last year and we do not have the funds to make this much needed purchase. But - we will not take NO for an answer. Our students will benefit from this curriculum so we are searching every avenue in order to get it in place for our scholars. Help us help these students get what they need to progress in math this year! The funds raised from this site will go towards purchasing the 1st, 2nd, and upper grades curriculums, including all of the materials used for each grade. See for yourself - Touch Math Curriculum
