Friends and Family,
We are truly heartbroken by the devastating earthquake that happened in Mexico City September 19, 2017. This has created challenges not only in the infrastructure, but also in the day to day economy of Mexico. It is with this passion that we have decide to take action and be the change!
Walton Contractors, REZ furniture, The Dapper Club, Eat Clean Chicago, Boys Club of Cicero and many other local companies have partnered to raise money and non parishables to personally distribute in Mexico.
We are asking for your help to collect a large sum of non parishables(baby food, formula, canned food, water, etc.) and personal care items(wipes, diapers, santizers, etc. ) to fill up the trailer. For those who would rather donate money, we have created a gofundme to buy items that we will need fill up a semi trailer. 100% of proceeds will go to buying items that will be delivered to the most critically affected areas. No donation is to small.
The trailer will be leaving on Sunday, September 30, 2017
All Volunteer work for loading and delivering is welcomed!
Tony Reyes of Walton Contractors, Eric Gutierrez of REZ furniture and any volunteers who wish to join, will be traveling to Mexico City to receive the trailer and coordinate with local shelters and churches to distribute the goods that you have gifted with love.
