Legal Support for Katie Sorensen

Last December, my daughter experienced something every mother fears. She faced a situation where she had reason to believe her children were in danger of being abducted. I cannot share details here due to this being in the court system, but we are now finding ourselves  in a place we never thought possible: The tables have been turned and now my daughter is being accused of filing a false police report.  The details are baffling and the accusations completely misguided. To say that this is a nightmare is a profound understatement.   We have been told that this will be a long, long road, and that there is much to be done to prepare her defense.  With that, comes a large amount of legal fees. This fund is being set up for an initial retainer and possible court proceedings. I hate reaching out for help...but we are at a loss as to how to pay for this.  Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
