Rally for Rudi
Spende geschützt
Dear friends and family!
As many of you know, Rudi is back at Emory Hospital after experiencing some complications (see Caring Bridge for more details). The good news is, Rudi is a FIGHTER, always has been, and always will be. However, this may be a long road, and I know each and every one of us asks the same question, "What can I do for the Piersons and Cumiskeys?" First of all, we can pray, we can pray for physical healing, for strength to endure, for Justin, Mary Lynne, and Chuck to find an equal balance of caring for Rudi and caring for themselves, for the doctors and nurses to have the wisdom to treat Rudi, and most importantly, for Rudi to find joy in each day. And secondly, we have set up a Go Fund Me page for the entire family to use as they wish: hotel rooms, meals, gas, dog walkers, etc. It's time for us to Rally for Rudi!!! Please, please forward this to anyone who would like to support Rudi and her family during this time. Columbus is a special place where our friends are family and I speak for the Pierson's and us all when I say, we are thankful for this community!
Like I said, you can stay updated on Rudi's progress via her Caring Bridge page and when she gets discharged home, the family would love to have meals provided to lighten their load. Specifically, lunches are helpful as Justin will not be home to cook. But we all know, Justin is quite the chef! And he uses cooking as a way to decompress at the end of a long work day. So, if you prefer to bring dinner, marinated meats and veggies are always welcomed - something easy that Justin can "finish off" on the grill/stove/oven. When that time comes, we will send out more information as to any diet restrictions, etc.
Thank you in advance for supporting Rudi and family!
