Reunion with mama

My name is Maria Voulgari and I am currently reaching out for your support to help reunite me with my imprisoned mother. My mother has been detained in a foreign prison for the past 7 months now and has been held under a very strict communication ban. I do not remember what my mother looks like or sounds like apart from the little to none content I have to remember her by. I am hoping to raise funds to cover the travel expenses to finally visit her for the first time. This will be my first time traveling overseas and it’ll be to visit my mother in a foreign prison. These funds include: airfare, accommodation, and other necessary costs needed to visit my mother in Taiwan after her trial. My mother is currently facing the hefty penalty of either life imprisonment or the death penalty and has had no communication with anyone aside from lawyers, the Australian office in Taipei and foreigners in her cell for the past 7 months, she is in much need of emotional support and physical from her children, given that she has been deprived of our love and presence for almost a year.
