Daniels fight to cancer
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends: As many of you know, this journey started in February 2012, after we found a lump on Daniel’s neck. At that time, he was diagnosed with Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma and received aggressive chemotherapy and radiation treatment until he was told that he was "cancer free". Unfortunately, cancer returned to the same area in 2014, and Daniel had surgery at Stanford University Hospital in July. His recovery from that surgery was not easy, but, during the next year, Daniel started to heal and feel stronger once again. Then, in November 2015, we were told that Daniel’s cancer was back, and we were informed that surgery was not an option. However, his team of doctors at Stanford advised us that Daniel was eligible for a clinical study in the hospital which he is participating in at this time. After the first 8 weeks of treatment, we’ve been told that although the tumors have not shrunk, they are stable (have not grown). Daniel’s next scan is coming up and we are looking forward to positive results once again.
Needless to say, our medical bills are substantial and we are asking for your help as Daniel’s battle continues. Any donation would be greatly appreciated - no amount is too small. We also ask for your continued prayers.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Daniel, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Larissa
