Help Evelyn and Her Family

Evelyn Louise came into our lives on June 1, 2017. She was born at Magee-Woman's Hospital in Pittsburgh, 6 weeks early. She was 3 pounds 10 ounces at birth and a few days later was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. After a couple of weeks at Magee, she moved to The Children's Home and is now at Children's Hospital. She continues to live in Pittsburgh away from her family. Mom and Dad visit 3 -4 times a week. Emma, Dom, and Elyse have visited a couple of times. Anytime she sees a picture of Evelyn, Elyse declares "I want to hold her!" Hopefully she gets to come home soon!
In the meantime, the trips to Pittsburgh add up. Gas and parking alone are a large expense. Then there is the food on the go. And after those expenses, just keeping food stocked at home is a challenge. Mom still isn't back to work after her cesarean  and Dad frequently has to miss work to travel to Pittsburgh for additional appointments. And then of course there are the hospital bills. 
As she approaches 50 days in Pittsburgh hospitals and will likely continue to be there for at least a couple weeks more, any donation will ensure that Evelyn can continue to have her visitors and continue to get the best possible care until she is able to be home with us!
