AJ and Madison have spent the past year fostering a precious little girl. They are completely pro-reunification and that was their intent when they said "yes" to her placement. They have poured their heats into this sweet girl and now her case is moving to adoption despite all efforts of reunification.
They were very excited to adopt and now a person has come forward that has no real connection with her but has a past with mom and she also passed her home study. Their little one has never met this lady(since she was an infant) and moving her, at this point, will we be VERY traumatic to a little girl who already has a lot of past trauma to work through.
As part of their adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign for them. They are now forced to quickly hire an attorney and pay a retainer that they are not financially prepared to pay. Although they have some savings they still need need some help to cover what they don't have of these fees! This is why we have set a goal of $5000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents forced into a situation like this at the last minute and no time to raise the funds.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community they hope to build around this sweet little girl as she grows up to be a happy, healthy and well-adjusted surrounded by family and friends that care greatly for her after the trauma she has already faced in her four short years.
EVERY dollar makes a difference - no amount is too small (or too big) and they need have only a very short amount of time to raise these funds.
