My name is Benjamin "Jamie" Greene, and I've been a pillar of support to my community and others in need over the years. Now, I'm asking for your help to get me back on my feet.

I was in a long-term relationship with my ex-partner for over 18 years, but it turned toxic over the last few years, and this year he turned abusive toward me. On September 30th, I was a victim of domestic violence when he hit me in the side of the head so hard during an argument, I fell to the ground outside the house. My glasses were permanently broken, and I was left bleeding from the leg and nose. This also came at a time while I was unemployed. I called the police, and he was arrested, which he was very upset about. Fortunately, my friend in the city had a room for rent when I needed to escape, but I had to make a very abrupt move over here when my ex found out about it.

I am running out of savings but need to get my life back in order, and hopefully get my own car so I can get to and from whatever job I end up getting. Thanks so much in advance for your donations or shares; everything helps right now.
