Dr. Randall Todd Memorial Scholarship
Donation protected
Dr. Randall Todd recently lost his 16 month battle with cancer. As former colleagues of Dr. Todd, we would like to set up a memorial scholarship in his memory with the University of Nevada School of Public Health.
Dr. Todd played an integral role in the public health of Nevadans from 1993 until his retirement in 2020. He first served as the State Epidemiologist with the State of Nevada from 1993 until 2005, and then as the Director of Epidemiology and Public Health Preparedness with Washoe County Health District from 2005 until 2020. Dr. Todd was also an adjunct professor with UNR School of Public Health. He taught many of us the importance of public health and what he fondly referred to as "shoe leather epidemiology."
This scholarship will be used to provide financial aid to students with demonstrated need studying epidemiology in the UNR School of Public Health at the undergraduate or graduate level. We are so grateful that you have taken the time to consider making a contribution in Dr. Todd's memory, thank you.
