We have started this GoFund me account to help us with the expenses for Hazel’s chemotherapy journey. Both parents have been on leave since July 8, 2022 in order to be with Hazel. On July 8th, Hazel’s doctor noticed a mass on her right side of her abdomen, and was immediately sent to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto. On July 11th, the doctors discovered a tumor on Hazel’s right kidney. On July 15th, Hazel underwent surgery to remove the tumor and right kidney. After surgery the doctors informed us that the tumor was cancerous and Hazel will need chemotherapy. On July 21st, Hazel started chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is projected to go for 20 weeks. Any donations are accepted through here or Zelle to either Linda or Jr.
