In Honor of Dorian Jackson

Thank you so much for the unwavering love, prayers, meals, and support extended to the Jackson family during this incredibly difficult time. Every act of kindness means so much to the family.

Dorian Jackson is a senior Business Marketing student and Cheatham-White Scholar at North Carolina A&T State University. He is deeply rooted in his faith, devoted to his family, and committed to his education. On Saturday, September 19, Dorian entered Lake Norman to help his sister after her kayak capsized. In an act of love and selflessness, Dorian put his own safety aside to help his sister.

Dorian is the oldest of eight siblings, and his love for his brothers and sisters continues to inspire his family. In honor of that love and his commitment to education, the family is establishing a $20,000 scholarship fund to support his five sisters and three brothers, including three siblings currently in college.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported the family through the Meal Train, meals, donations, and prayers. This GoFundMe has a specific purpose: to provide educational support for Dorian’s siblings and honor the legacy of faith, family, and education that he represents.
