The Stubbs family is facing every parent’s worst nightmare. Their 17-month-old son, Donovan, is fighting for his life after an accidental drowning.
The doctors are having a difficult time controlling his seizures and the medication for the seizures is causing low blood pressure. He is working hard to breathe with the ventilator.
The next set of tests will be to see if he has brain activity.
In this difficult time, it is clear that both Courtnei and Terrill have so much to deal with. Spending time with Donovan monitoring at the hospital is their top priority along with caring for their three other children: Jalen (10), Kade (2), and Donovan's twin sister, Mia (also 17 months).
The medical expenses for Donovan are completely unknown at present. In addition to these unknown expenses, working will be a challenge as they try to put as many pieces of their life back together as they can.
