My name is Dan and I am setting up this gofundme on behalf of my dad. My dad was recently scammed out of money from a caller who threatened his and his families life if he didn't do what he was told. Scared for his families life my dad made purchases under duress, buying gift cards for this caller and sending over the gift cards numbers not knowing that's all they need to make purchases instead of having the physical card itself. My dad went to the police after realizing what had just transpired and ended up losing 25k from credit cards and my parents bank account. I set up this gofundme account for my parents because they are in need. My parents are great people and if anyone knows them they would only have nice things to say about them. They are too proud to ask for help so I am setting this up for them. I am going to help them out to my best ability but any donations you make would really help my family in this time of need.
