Donna and Buddy's Housing Fund

Donna is 76 years old and in frail health. She has worked her entire life. She presentl y lives on her social security check. By the time the government takes Medicare payments and she pays her bills she only has $65.00 per month for food. She presently shops at the Dollar Store, when she can get there, for microwaveable foods. She had to get rid of her car because she could not afford the payments/insurance. She also has a very difficult time paying her taxes, which is a tremendous burden on her meager income, and is afraid that she will loose her home. Her husband passed away several yeras ago and has no immediate family. She would love to find a job to help support herself but because of her age, health issues and lack of transpotation that is not a reality. She lives alone with her best friend Buddy (cute little dog) and is basically home-bound. By the way Buddy also has health issues that concern Donna but she cannot afford to get Buddy to a Vetenarian. I would like to collect funds for Donna so that would pay her real estate taxes for the next several years so that she would not have to worry about losing her very modest home. That thought frightenes her!  This would also allow her to have some  extra money for food, some basic necessities as well as get her best friend "Buddy" well again. My wife Paula and I have promised to help her until we can collect enough funds that will allow her to live out her remaining days in her home in peace, and if something would happen to Buddy she would be able to find another companion which would be essential for Donna's well-being.
