Donations to Evelyn’s House by the YCC
Donation protected
Hi everyone! I am a member of the Youth common council in Utica New York. We understand that the holidays can be hard especially for the Evelyn’s House. “Evelyn’s House, a program of ICAN, provides transitional housing to homeless women ages 16 to 24 who are pregnant and or parenting. Evelyn’s house strives for desired outcomes in three target areas, all of which contribute to long-term independence and empowerment of the young women in the program: 1) securing stable housing and improved financial stability, 2) increased access to education and employment, and 3) improved maternal and child health and well-being. The program can support seven young women and up to 12 children for up to 24 months with an estimated 16 women and 17 children receiving housing and services annually.”
The Youth Common Council wants to donate needed products during this holiday season.
With COVID-19, we understand the challenge of leaving your house so we are setting up a GOFUNDME where any money that you donate, we will use to buy items directly!!
All money will go to products that the Evelyns House is in need of. A GOFUNDME also helps us donate under these unprecedented times because they are not accepting ANY used items.
We want to help, and have you help us!
Happy holidays!!!
** if we exceed necessary funds we will donate to additional organizations **
