This past summer Lindsey went to the doctor for a routine visit only to discover a lump in her neck that was eventually confirmed cancer in her thyroid. She will be undergoing surgery to remove her thyroid and will be recovering afterward.
This is not the first time Lindsey has received the news that she has cancer—the first being Stage 3 Lymphoma when she was in high school—but it is the first that she will have to manage her copays and deductibles, mortgage, and other bills on her own while also coping with a second experience of cancer and the related stress.
While she would never ask anyone for help, we know that the unexpected expenses only add to the emotional distress, and we would like to offset concern in anyway we can. The goal of this gofundme is to help alleviate some stress for Lindsey as she embarks on her second time beating cancer.
