Donations for Green Cross, Guadalajara

Hello everyone!
My name is Eithaar Al Barwani and I'm a third year PhD student (Cancer research) at the University of Kent.
In 2014 I volunteered at Iringa Regional Referral hospital in Tanzania for two weeks. During this time I shadowed and assisted doctors and nurses in various departments (Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Surgery). Prior to the trip I raised ~£700 in donations to buy equipment and medication for these departments. After working with the doctors and nurses for two weeks we were able to identify some key needs from each department. Nebulizers were bought for the pediatric department due to the number of children passing away after serious asthma attacks. Magnesium Sulfate was bought for the Obstetrics and Gynecology department due to the large number of women passing away during childbirth. A wheelchair was bought for an elderly woman who had both her legs amputated. My volunteer group also donated many boxes of gloves, masks and hairnets to the hospital.
I'll be heading off to Guadalajara (Mexico) in February 2020 for a two week medical volunteering trip. I'll be working at the Green Cross Centre in Central Guadalajara at Zapopan. My volunteer trip will be entirely funded by myself however my goal is to raise £2500 for hospital supplies and medication. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and any donations will be very much appreciated!
