Donate with Dignity for Lebanon

We need your help to send two large seacontainers filled with supplies to Lebanon!

We are a group of students from the minor Embrace TEC at Fontys Pulsed. In four weeks we are collecting two containers full of items that are needed in Lebanon.
These items will support seven projects in Lebanon, that are on the ground helping vulnerable communities overcoming the current crisis.

The containers will leave Eindhoven the 7th of May.

With your donation we can:
- pay the transportation costs of these containers (€ 7500)
- buy scarce goods locally and support the local economy (€2350)
- buy scarce goods that we cannot find second hand (€5000)
- donate small amounts to families for expenses (medical, educational, living)
- reimburse expense for our warehouse (€ 6800)

What are we sending?
We are prioritizing the basics! Food, clothing, baby items, medical supplies, mobile devices for education and hygiene products.
The goods that we are collecting are second hand, but still of high quality and are given a second life in Lebanon where they are needed.

Who are we sending the containers to?
Our local partners work directly in the communities and support both Lebanese and refugees. They are rebuilding houses, distributing food packs daily, helping children to attend school, teaching women sewing for livelihood, running a free clothing shop, running a free mobile health clinic and much much more!

Why are we doing this?
Lebanon has been strongly affected by several crisis. Years of political instability resulted in a collapsing economy, basic lifegoods unaffordable for many. The healthcare system crumbled with the Covid-19 pandemic hitting the country. Lebanon has some of the most strickt lockdowns in the world, which is leaving many families without income. More than half the nation is pushed into poverty In August last year       the Beirut port Explosion left 300.000 people homeless.
