Donate to treat Zero's prostate cancer

Hello kind souls,

I am writing to ask your help in raising funds so that Frankie's dog Zero can receive radiation therapy and be cured of his prostate cancer.

I have known Frankie for over 6 years now. She has helped me care for my cats and dog and has essentially became a part of our family.

She is a kind hearted soul and truly loves all animals, even taking in cats that she has found in the street and caring for them as her own.

Unfortunately, her own dog Zero was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year. The treatment to cure Zero will be a combination of chemotherapy and radiation with sedation, with an estimated cost of $17,000.

Not only is this a huge financial burden to Frankie, but also a difficult situation for her dog sitting and walking business as she will need to take Zero to radiation treatment daily for 4 weeks and will not be able to work full time during that period. So far Zero has only had a few doses of chemotherapy and no radiation due to the financial and logistical challenges mentioned above.

I am an oncologist (for humans, not doggos) and my knowledge of prostate cancer in dogs is limited, it is my understanding that the chemotherapy has kept the cancer at bay but unless he is able to receive radiation his cancer will eventually progress and metastasize.

So I am asking you to please donate to this fund so we can gather enough money for Zero's prostate cancer treatment with goal of having him cured. If you know Frankie, you know that she is too proud to ask for financial help, so I have taken it upon myself to this for Zero and her.
