My son Tony was diagnosed with testicular cancer in June of this year. He had surgery and underwent some additional testing only to find out that the cancer had spread. In August he had his port put in to start the chemotherapy treatments. They were hard on his body and in September he ended up in the hospital as they had diagnosed him as having blood clots in both of his lungs as well as his neck. They transported him down to Abbott where they found out his port had gotten twisted. He then underwent a surgery to correct that. He started the chemotherapy treats again. After his final treatment, Tony had to go to the ER again. They diagnosed him with pneumonia. He stayed in the hospital for several days. He came home with medication in hopes it would get better. After a week of being home he still was not feeling any better so back to the DR. They changed out his medication however still no improvement. Tony ended up back in the ER again 11/16. This time he was diagnosed to have air or fluid around his heart. Leading to possible emergency surgery. His fingers were turning blue and he almost passed out due to the low oxygen. He is currently in Abbott hospital. This has been very hard on him and his family financially. No one prepares for something like this when you are only 35. They just had a baby in April to make their family whole with the 2 other kiddos.... Amber has been a trooper through all of this. Being there for my son and grand kids. However its hard taking care of you family when you lose an income due to no one's fault... They really could use a hand with bills medical bills, food, gas... you name it. My son has always been a hard worker and even when he should have still been at home resting he was pushing to be at work to take care of his family.... That leads me to why I am starting a go fund me for them. They really could use any help at all to make it though these hard times. He is such a wonderful man who has always strived to be there for others, his family... no matter big or small.......I am proud of the man he has become... but there comes a time when we all could use a little help.... words of encouragement or prayer....
