Many of you may recall that a few years ago we started a Go Fund Me when Jayson was diagnosed with Hep C and cirrhosis of the liver. Thanks to many kind donations, he was able to get caught up on the bills which had accumulated during his illness when he had been unable to work. This helped alleviate his stress greatly.

Three years ago, he was also diagnosed with liver cancer. Western and alternative treatments helped keep the cancer under control. However, early this Spring, he learned that the cancer had metastasized. After reviewing options, Jayson chose to receive immunotherapy treatment and received two infusions. Unfortunately, the side effects were surprisingly devastating. He was completely incapacitated for several weeks. At one point he even said to his partner, "I feel like this is killing me." Medication was given to address the side effects. Though they improved somewhat, they still linger.

Currently, two of the most concerning symptoms include persistent fatigue and an inability to gain weight. His weight has dropped from 165 to 123.

Right now, he is taking a break from immunotherapy and is considering next steps. He is on a new stronger herbal regimen and will also begin other alternative supports, none of which are covered by insurance.

The little energy that he has is dedicated to keeping up his own home. There is none left to work for income. So, in addition to trying to navigate this disease, bills have been mounting due to his inability to work.

Any contribution you feel moved to contribute would be greatly appreciated.

For those who are so moved, there is also work to be done on the property where he lives in West Virginia. (It's called "The Nest.") His inability to attend to all the needs of the little farm adds to his stress on a daily basis.

Blessings to you all.
