A week ago, Sport and Britni were returning home from their bachelor/bachelorette party in Las Vegas when Sport began to feel sick. What they thought was simple food poisoning quickly turned into something far more serious. Sport had a previous medical condition that was made worse by food poisoning, resulting in a perforated bowel. While the doctors tried hard to get his condition under control with IV antibiotics and a week-long hospital stay, it is now evident that Sport will need to have surgery to repair his bowel.

The timing of this couldn’t be worse. Sport and Britni have postponed their wedding as a result of this unexpected illness. Sport and Britni are career servers at Bahama Breeze, and with Sport in the hospital and not able to work, this has created some hardship for them. Sport has a very long recovery ahead of him and will be out of work until he is cleared by doctors to return.
