8 years on testosterone and I am finally getting top surgery! I'm Scout, a 30-year-old Black transgender artist & musician in Northern CA. I work as a farm-hand and assistant/maintenance worker at a screen-printing facility.

I'm going to need to take work off for a while after my surgery to recover safely. I worked with my doctor to understand the recovery length and did the math to find that this would be the best way to continue providing appropriately for myself, my partner, and stepson so the weight isn't put solely on her as I sit out for a while. I'm very excited to finally have this surgery, but I won't be able to do it if I don't make the money to substitute my regular income and support. Your help is extremely appreciated!
