Donate To Help Replace Stolen Scout Troop Trailer

Hi, my name is Michael Parker and I serve as the Committee Chair for Scouts BSA Troop 1 of Wichita Falls, TX. Our Troop was established in 1916 and had been chartered to Floral Heights UMC for the past 100 years.

Last week, our 2013 Haulmark 7'x14' tandem axle trailer with camping equipment was stolen from the church parking lot. This unfortunate event was worsened by the fact that it was not covered by any insurance.

We are seeking donations to cover the cost of replacing the trailer and equipment lost. The original cost of the items totaled $6,600 but with inflation will cost approximately $9,500 to replace them.

Our fundraising goal is to replace the trailer and equipment by June 30th, 2023. Just in time for our scheduled trip to the National Jamboree High Adventure Summer Camp at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia for 30 youth and 10 adult volunteers.
