Professor Jensen Fisher is a phenomenal medical librarian at Rocky Vista University. I've had the honor of working with him since I started at RVU two years ago, and it was so refreshing to see an older trans person in my life. Professor Fisher is a passionate activist for human rights and continues to fight for the cause with profound determination. He is inspiring, caring, and an overall amazing human being.

Unfortunately, Professor Fisher's health insurance denied coverage for his top surgery revisions. He has had this surgery planned for months, only to be denied by the unjust bureaucracy of the American healthcare system. This is yet another vitriolic strike to trans healthcare. Professor Fisher now has no choice but to pay out of pocket for a surgery that should be free and accessible. As his friend and coworker, it breaks my heart to see this situation unfold.
