Donate to move humanist school to new property.

I have known Muwanguzi Rogers for some time now. I have gotten to know him as a humanitarian person with a passion for the education and welfare of children. It was important to him that children in rural Uganda get a quality education. After completing his teacher’s certificate in Primary School Education, he left city life and dedicated himself to educating children in rural Uganda. In 2017, he and a group of his friends founded Eagle’s View Humanitarian Primary School in Kaira village, Jinja Uganda. The school adopted a fact based, humanist education curriculum that emphasizes the importance of science and critical thinking. Last year in the National Primary Leaving Examination the school registered a superb performance in grading topping the entire district. Due to its performance, the school now has 347 students which is an extraordinary number for a rural school in any part of the world. Unfortunately the school is going through a great challenge. On November 2022 the lease of land where the school was founded lapsed and do to inheritance related issues the owner was unwilling to extend the lease. However, with the help of a few generous people, the school purchased approximately two acres of land where we now wish it to thrive.

min the new education year, the school is conducting classes in temporary structures without any protection from stormy or rainy weather. The temporary classrooms need roofing, beams and poles.
