Hello! My name is Jason, and about two weeks ago, we saved some kittens.

I do social media and video for a local pressure washing company. We were pressure washing a deck; we did our normal checks to make sure nothing was underneath, but the kittens were hidden. Some of the chemicals we used, along with the water, dripped down on them. We heard them crying, and the crew stopped everything to rinse them off thoroughly with just water and wrap them in what we could find to keep them warm since it was colder outside.

I rushed them to the nearest pet urgent care due to the owner not having a cat, and the poor babies were so cold and momma cat was nowhere to be found. I set up a timelapse camera, with the owner's permission, to see if mama would come back a few hours after we finished the job just to make sure. The vet said given the state of the kittens she was pretty certain the momma had abandoned them. A few hours after the job, momma had not come back, so we contacted the humane society. They could take them in, but they were at capacity, so it looked like we now had two 3-week-old kittens to try and take care of.

It's been two weeks and they're doing great! We did underestimate how much it would cost though. The urgent care visit was $380 and the kitten food and milk has gotten to be over $140. In a few weeks, the vet visits are going to just further inflate those numbers.

Anything you'd be willing to donate would be greatly appreciated.

Anything over the amount will go towards getting the house ready for 5, yes 5 cats, as I don't think we can give them up now.
