As some of you may know on March 24 Renzo was admitted to the hospital with severe high blood pressure and blood sugar. He is still currently there but hopefully be headed home soon. During his stay, Renzo had multiple strokes that have left some deficits. Due to this, he will have to be out of work indefinitely. Rachael has been a stay at home mom to their 3 children, one only being 2 years old. Renzo has not been at his job long enough for any short term disability which puts them in a very difficult spot financially. Not only does Rachael have to figure out a new diet for the household (cardiac and diabetic diet), be the nurse for Renzo with all of his blood pressure and blood sugar checks, medcations, take care of the 3 children, but also figure out what to do in terms of a job for her. I know they will have many medical bills after this as he was in the hopsital for over 2 weeks with multiple tests done. When he does get discharged, he will have to wear a life vest (a wearable defibrillator) that costs $3000 a month (I'm not sure how much of that their insurance covers). I wanted to make a Go Fund Me page for them so that hopefully it can relieve some of their financial burden at this time. This all has to be extremely overwhelming for Rachael on so many levels let alone heartbreaking and very scary to see Renzo go through this.
