Donate to help support DUO - Do Unto Others

Shalom Everyone,

Hard to believe, but it is Teva's Bar Mitzvah coming up. This time around, we have chosen a local project to fundraise for.

 

DUO (Do Unto Others) is a non-denominational organization supporting members of the unsheltered community in downtown Oshawa. Their clientele is primarily people with addiction and mental health challenges that are somehow missed by other social programs. The volunteers work tirelessly with outreach, providing meals and a warming space for some of our most vulnerable people. They also work hard to help individuals find housing and other community support services. We are fundraising to make infrastructure investments in their space before the winter season. We will also organize volunteer days to do physical work in the space - painting, cleaning, organizing, fixing, and installing. If you are interested in participating in one of these volunteer days, contact us,and we will include you on our schedule.
