Donate to help Silvana with her medical expenses

Hi, my name is Patricia Garcia & I am one of Silvana's best friends from childhood.

Silvana was in a serious car accident on April 13th, 2022 where she suffered multiple head injuries, broken ribs and most importantly 2 fractured vertebraes on her back. She has needed round the clock care and is still in intensive care, has been in an induced coma for over a week, on ventilator & nasograstric tube feeding. Her surgery has been "on hold" because of a bacteria found in her blood. Once she finishes antibiotics & is stable the surgery will take place.

 

I am organizing this fundraiser so we can all help raise money for her injuries/medical expenses. She works in the restaurant industry, therefore once she is out of the hospital, she will be in recovery for a couple of months & won't be able to work.

 

Every single cent is appreciated. Silvana is an amazing friend & sister. If you know her you know how much she means to us & those that surround her.

Abby Boyce is a good friend of Silvana in Rincón & will be our beneficiary to transfer the funds from her to Silvana as soon as possible. Whenever Abby receives the money she will write Silvana a check with the whole amount of donations we received. The reason the transfer is through Abby is because Silvana, her father, & myself Patricia all have banks from Puerto Rico & it is still not an option to receive the funds.
Abby has the bank requirements that GoFundMe has, which is to receive the funds through one of the verified banks of the United States.

Silvana has been officially out of the hospital for a month & a half now. She continues to receive physical & occupational therapy every day of the week. We are still waiting for Silvana's feet to work so she can walk normally & continue with her life, but at the moment her feet are still struggling from the accident & surgery which affects directly her walking, therefore she needs someone to help her with most of her chores.
