Hi, my name is Rebecca, and I am fundraising for Mitch and the Johnson family.

I work with Megan, Mitch's wife, hoping to help them as they begin their journey through a recent devestating medical diagnosis.

Last week the Johnson family's lives turned in a direction no one ever thought, as Mitch was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. This diagnosis was unexpected as recently as last week, Mitch had no symptoms and was feeling good. At the beginning of the week, Mitch started not to feel well, which turned into an emergency hospital stay within a couple of days. The week continued to whirlwind with hospital transfers and many tests concluding in the devastating diagnosis.

Mitch and Megan share a love of the outdoors with water sports and motorcycle adventures. They opened up their home and adopted their pre-teen son Cayden 3 years ago and also have a beautiful little 1 year old daughter, Evelyn. Animals are a big part of their lives, and they have adopted and open their home to many fur babies too!

As they are just beginning with more testing, oncology meetings, treatment plans, and hospital visits the Johnson's need our support. Anything that can be donated will help with the medical bills, child care while Megan is staying and supporting her husband, food, and transportation costs.
