We are reaching out to you to share the story of a phenomenal woman, Kerene Sands, a beautiful, smart, resilient, single mother of 3 and grandmother of 1. Kerene was unexpectedly diagnosed with one of the most rarest and aggressive forms of breast cancer called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. The cancer is already at a later stage, Stage 3, and Kerene is now facing the most challenging journey of her life.

Inflammatory Breast Cancer appears rapidly and spreads quickly. Due to the severity of Kerene’s cancer, the oncology team has strongly recommended chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. Kerene is determined to beat the cancer and continue to live to share moments with her loved ones, however this critical illness has paced an overwhelming financial burden to her already full plate.

This is where we can step in. As a community, we want to demonstrate the power of numbers and collectively provide Kerene with the support and resources her and her family need to get through this difficult time.

We are kindly asking for your assistance with monetary gifts to assist with the cost of medications, medical bills, transportation to treatment, groceries, and other necessities needed during this trying time.
