My cousin's husband was working on the hot water boiler that day when it suddenly exploded. Besides the father, there were also 2 kids at home. The eldest one is 12 years old and the youngest one is 8 years old. After the explosion, the father immediately rushed the kids out of the house. Sadly, the father suffered from burns throughout 95% of his body and has passed away after 2 days in ICU. The eldest child suffers from burns throughout 45% of his body and is still currently in a coma. The doctors informed us that he will likely need to have his arm amputated. The younger child suffers from burns throughout 20% of his body but is now stabilized. Sadly, they will both need to go through skin grafting to repair the damages and burns throughout their entire body, and they will also need to recover emotionally after experiencing such a tragedy. The cost for rehab and the medical bills are too much for her to handle alone as the sole caregiver. I am trying to help out in whatever way I can, but there is only so much that I can do. She doesn't deserve to go through this nightmare alone, so I am reaching out to friends and family to help my cousin's family in whatever way possible, no amount is too little. Thank you everyone.
