Donate to Extraordinary Ventures!

We are students from Durham Technical Community College's Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program. This semester we have the opportunity to complete a Service Learning Project alongside a community partner. We are working with Extraordinary Ventures (EV), an organization that hires adults with autism and other Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD). "From candle sales to dog walking, our businesses provide real solutions for the real needs of the community while simultaneously creating paid job opportunities for a neurodiverse workforce. Our goal for these endeavors is extraordinary…to enable every individual in our society the opportunity to achieve their highest quality of life, regardless of their intellectual and developmental abilities."

This summer, we are helping EV create visual supports for their laundry business employees. We would love your help raising funds for this business and the other businesses within EV. The funds raised will go towards purchasing a new washing machine, which costs about $700.

We are providing a link to EV's "Gifts" shop, where they would love for people to buy from, as this would have the most direct impact on their employees!
