Nobody should have to experience the trauma that comes with losing a child. Tragically, our dear friend Roslyn faced this heartbreak when her beloved son, Shazen Sevellino, had an accident on October 30, 2024.
Thanks to the efforts of CPR, paramedics, and an incredible ICU team, Shazen was kept alive until he was pronounced brain dead on the morning of November 1st. Surrounded by family and loved ones, he left this world on the afternoon of November 2nd.
With the family’s permission, I’m starting this GoFundMe to help support them during this incredibly difficult time with medical and funeral expenses.
Shazen (who was only 14) leaves behind his mother, father, stepfather, siblings, a large extended family, and a community of friends who love him dearly.
We will remember Shazen for his bright smile, quick wit, love of soccer, musical talents, and the affection he showed his family every day.
I plead with you to please donate anything to help ease the financial burden of this young family through this devastating loss.
If you are unable to donate, please share this on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, or any platform you can to help support Shazen’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Your support means a lot.
