Now in its 3rd year, Let’s Rock Cancer! (2025) will again be raising money and awareness for the Cancer Care Equity Program at Dana-Farber, which aims to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes among local communities. Established in 2012, and stewarded by Christopher Lathan, MD, MS, MPH, who is the Chief Clinical Access and Equity Officer at Dana-Farber and whose research centers on the effects of race, class, and access to care in cancer outcomes, the Program broadens access to historically marginalized patient populations and joins our community partners in the pursuit of equitable care across the spectrum of cancer-related diseases.
This GoFundMe outlet is for folks who wish to contribute but are unable to attend the music event (see below for details).
The music event: Let’s Rock Cancer! A Rockin’ Night to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Cancer Care Equity Program, will be hosted by the Crystal Ballroom at Somerville Theater, 55 Davis Square in Somerville, on Friday, December 12 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The show will feature live music by Vapors of Morphine, The Chelsea Curve, Muck & the Mires, The Ray Liriano Experience, and ...Go! (and guests). If you are able to attend, tickets are available online at www.crystalballroomboston.com/events/lets-rock-cancer/.
