I am raising funds for my friend, Christie, who is a single mother raising a beautiful bright light (who struggles with brain based difference). Her daughter has the opportunity to be evaluated and treated by UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute this summer but it will require relocating from Salt Lake to LA for 8 weeks……

My wish is to raise enough money for Christie to afford (expensive!) housing and a few meals while in LA since she will also need to pay their mortgage, dog sitter, and all SL residence bills.

My goal is to help Christie breathe a little easier while she navigates yet another avenue to receiving diagnostic clarity and treatment for her daughter.

Christie is a very independent woman with a federal social work job but raising a high needs child on a single income is challenging and her resources are tapped.

She would never ask her friends (and especially their friends) for money - and that is why I am asking.
