Hi! I'm Ashley and I'm a recovering addict. I have been clean from all substances since August 5th, 2022. In 2021, while I was still battling addiction, my grandparents were granted guardianship of my son and my oldest daughter. At the time, it was the best thing for them. But now, at almost 2 years clean, I have decided to begin the battle to get my children back with me full time!

My oldest daughter has been in my care full time for over a year, yet my grandparents refuse to give up guardianship, coming up with a new excuse why every single time. I have tried for 6 months to come to an agreement with my grandparents without battling in court. But they have proven time and time again to be unhealthy and uncooperative about the situation. I am exhausted with their behavior, so I've decided to let the courts decide.

I already have full custody of my youngest daughter and it's time for her sister to be officially home. And I want to be able to develop/mend the relationship with my son!

I am a single mother who works hard and I am unable to afford an attorney at this time. I know this will be a lengthy battle. One I am not knowledgeable in and will need help. So, I'm asking for donations to help raise money to afford a lawyer to help fight for me and my children!

After some research into family law attorneys I have found most don't take payment plans. And the retainers range between $2500-$4000.
