I am planning a humanitarian trip to Fiji for the Summer of 2018. However, it is beyond my financial situation and I would greatly appreciate any help you are willing to give. I am taking this expedition through Humanitarian Experience for Youth (HEFY), whose purpose and goal is “Changing lives through service.” They believe that service draws us closer to Christ & their mission is to provide opportunities for teens to serve in areas of the world where they can be of assistance to the less-fortunate and grow their testimonies of the Gospel in an atmosphere that is safe, fun, and conducive to the standards of followers of Jesus Christ. There is a great need for service in the world, and I am one of many youth who has the desire to fill that need.
Any funds you are willing to donate will go towards the travel expenses of my trip, as well as for the materials needed for the humanitarian project. On this expedition, I will be working alongside locals in the village of Nadi, found just outside of the city Lautoka on the west side of the island. There I will add bathrooms with flushing toilet systems to homes that are currently without plumbing. My efforts will help to improve the health and sanitation of the people there and increase their standard of living. This opportunity is also doubling as my senior project so any support you are willing to give to help me achieve this goal will be greatly appreciated!
