We are reaching out to you today to ask for your help in supporting our dear friend, Susan Abbee, who is facing an incredibly challenging time after undergoing spinal surgery that has left her paralyzed.

As many of you know, Susan is one of the most caring, positive, and resilient individuals you could ever meet. She has always been there for others, offering a helping hand, a listening ear, and a warm heart. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.

Unfortunately, complications from her spinal surgery have left Susan with limited mobility and requiring modifications to her home. Along with the emotional toll this has taken, the financial burden of her recovery has become overwhelming. The medical expenses associated with her ongoing treatment, rehabilitation, and specialized equipment are mounting rapidly, and we are coming together to ensure she has the support she needs during this difficult time.

One of the most immediate needs is a handicap-accessible ramp for her home. Susan’s current home is not equipped to accommodate her new needs, and this ramp is essential for her to be able to safely and independently enter and exit her home. In addition, we are seeking to help with the costs of medical supplies, therapy, and the other expenses that are necessary for her recovery.

Here is how your generous donation will help:

1. Handicap Ramp Installation: The funds will go toward building a safe and accessible ramp at Susan’s home, allowing her to leave and return independently.

2. Medical/Other Expenses: Your contributions will cover ongoing therapy, medical supplies, doctor’s visits, and prescriptions that are crucial to Susan’s recovery process. It will also help cover any other expenses she may encounter as a result of her paralysis.

We know that no donation is too small, and every dollar will make a difference. Your kindness and generosity will help lift some of the weight off Susan’s shoulders, allowing her to focus on what truly matters: healing and adjusting to her new reality.

If you are able to donate, please cover the minimal fee that Go-Fund Me charges to use their platform so Susan will not have to cover that percentage out of her donations.
