Help Radio Receive Comfort and Care in His Final Chapter

Most of you know my beloved dog, Radio. At 13 years old, he’s still full of heart and spirit. In 2022, Radio was diagnosed with osteosarcoma of the jaw, a devastating cancer diagnosis—but thanks to early treatment, he was able to enjoy nearly two years in remission.

Sadly, on June 9, 2025, I received the heartbreaking news: Radio’s cancer has returned. This time, it’s located deep in his nasal cavity, extending slightly to the other side and reaching the base of his skull. Surgery isn’t an option, and the best course now is palliative radiation—not to cure, but to give him comfort, relief, and quality time in his final days.

This treatment comes at a cost of nearly $4,000. I've already exhausted most of my CareCredit on his previous care. I’m working part-time, but it’s not enough to cover the treatment he needs.

I’m not asking for years—just a little more time for him to enjoy sniffing the breeze, sunbathing, and feeling safe and loved before he takes his journey to the Rainbow Bridge.

Update June 12th, 2025: The Ohio State University has cleared a pay as I go, instead of paying all $4,000 up front.

The first treatment is about $1200. With his following treatments anywhere around $700-$800 following. This is an estimate as they don’t usually quote cost per session.

We still have some time to hopefully raise more money, as his first treatment is Thursday June 26th, 2025.
