Help McLean Get the Urgent Medical Care He Needs
McLean was rescued from a hoarding situation where one woman was keeping over 50 cats in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. McLean was one of the many victims of this overwhelming environment, and sadly, it’s taken a toll on his health.
Since his rescue, McLean has been struggling with a severe case of IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease). He suffers from chronic digestive issues - frequent discomfort, difficulty eating, and distressing symptoms that leave him weak and in pain.
Thanks to generous donations from previous donors, McLean was able to get an ultrasound to help us understand the full extent of his condition. This diagnostic test was critical in creating a treatment plan that could finally give him relief - and the chance at the healthy, comfortable life he deserves.
Unfortunately, during that visit, the vet discovered that McLean has cryptorchidism - hidden testicles - which means he’s not neutered and will need a specialized surgery called cryptorchid neutering. This procedure is more complex than a standard neuter and can only be done at a regular veterinary clinic by an experienced vet, costing around $1,000. We can’t take him to a low-cost spay/neuter ASPCA clinic for this.
We’re reaching out to our community of animal lovers to ask for your help. Every dollar raised will go directly toward McLean’s veterinary care, starting with the medications, specialized neutering, and follow-up visits.
Please consider donating to help McLean heal. If you’re unable to give, sharing this campaign means the world to us.
Thank you for supporting McLean on his journey to recovery and love.
with gratitude
