Donate for Birdie's Urgent Surgery and Care

Birdie has been my best friend for 17 years, a mother for 11, and a wife for 5. I've always known her to be someone that helps others and does what she can to make the space around her a little better.

Recently she went in for a routine well woman visit and was diagnosed with EIN (Endometrial Intraepithelial Neoplasia), a precancerous reproductive condition. She met with an oncologist and was told there was a 40% chance that her condition was already cancerous and has been scheduled for surgery. In addition, she saw a cardiologist for trouble she was having with her heart and was diagnosed with POTS.

Naturally, the testing and treatment for both of these conditions has

racked up a couple of thousand in medical bills, and an additional $500 has to be paid before her surgery on December 5th. We are doing everything we can to take care of these bills ourselves, but even as a two family household it is incredibly difficult to get the money together.

Nobody LIKES asking for help, and creating this has been very difficult, but part of growing up and caring for others is knowing when you have to reach out. Anything anyone can donate is so greatly appreciated and will go directly to Birdie's care and treatment.
