Donate for Ariana and Gabriel's College Dreams

Linda Maricela Chavez, 47, of Lynn, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Salem Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Linda was a graduate of Rutgers University and worked for many years as a nurse. She had a big heart, which could be seen from her rescuing of animals and supporting her children and her Godchild in their many activities. She was a longtime supportive member of her sorority, Sigma Lambda Gamma, as well.

Along with her parents, Jesus and Rosa Chavez, Linda is survived by her loving children, Ariana and Gabriel of Lynn, and her brothers, Jesus Chavez of Lynn and Nelson Chavez of Lynn.

At this time, we seek to provide for the children's future. We humbly ask and are grateful for any donation you can make in order to secure the children's educational fund. Linda's greatest strength was her love of family. She was an amazing mom who always put her children first. Gabriel is currently a junior in high school and Ariana is a freshman. With college in the near future, this fund will help meet the children's educational needs.
