Donate for Ainsley's Critical Surgery Journey

Donation protected
This is Ainsley. She is 11 years old, and 2 years ago, she was diagnosed with a severe form of genetic disorder, Charcot-Marie-Tooth 4J. CMT4J is a terminal progressive neuromuscular disease that causes the nerves and muscles to atrophy, beginning in the hands and feet, and moving up the body. It also causes skeletal abnormalities such as foot drop, broken bones, and scoliosis. Ainsley has already lost all feeling in her feet, and she is unable to walk without assistance. Over the past two years, she has also developed a severe scoliosis curve in her spine that is beginning to compress her heart and lungs, and despite her young age, she will be forced to have a posterior spinal fusion of her T2 to L1 vertebrae, with metal rods and screws, this July in Dallas, Texas. Ainsley and her family live in Mississippi, and she and her mother will be traveling 6 1/2 hours for the surgery and staying for a month in Texas. We are hoping to raise enough money for the out-of-pocket insurance and travel expenses for the surgery. We would appreciate any help, and especially prayers as well!! Thank you!
