On January 17th, my dad collapsed. It wasn't until a few days later that we convinced him into going to the hospital. We later found out that he'd had a stroke. After a long stay in the hospital, he was moved to a rehab facility where he's trying to regain his strength.

At the moment, he's struggling to walk and do every-day basic tasks.  He'll likely need more time with inpatient rehab or need a nurse at home, as my mother is unable to care for him in his current state (she has muscular dystrophy).  

The good news is that he has been making progress, but the medical bills are begininng to stack, even with insurance. We're not sure what the final bill will be, but I'll have this updated as soon as I know.
